RouteCare ("we", "us") provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) dispatch software to transportation providers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information for dispatchers, administrators, and drivers (name, email, phone).
- Trip information provided by transportation providers and their brokers, including passenger name, contact number, pickup/drop-off addresses, and appointment times.
- Operational data such as trip status, driver location during active trips, and proof-of-service acknowledgments.
How we use information
- To schedule, dispatch, route, and complete transportation.
- To send passengers ride-related notifications (see our SMS / Messaging Policy).
- To generate billing and claims records for the transportation provider and their broker.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service (e.g., mapping/geocoding and SMS delivery providers) and as required by the transportation provider's broker for billing. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
Data retention & security
Data is retained as long as needed to provide the service and meet billing/recordkeeping obligations, then deleted or anonymized. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest.
Your choices
Passengers may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. To request access or deletion of information, contact the transportation provider or us at the address below.
