SMS / Messaging Policy

About our text messages
RouteCare is a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) dispatch platform used by transportation providers to coordinate rides for their passengers. When a passenger has a trip scheduled, RouteCare may send that passenger SMS text messages with transactional ride updates — for example: a ride confirmation, an "on the way" / estimated-arrival notice, driver-arrived alerts, and a link to track the status of their ride. These are service notifications, not marketing.
Consent (opt-in)
A passenger's mobile number is provided to the transportation provider when their trip is arranged (by the passenger, their care facility, or their benefits broker). By providing a mobile number for a trip, the passenger consents to receive ride-related text messages for that transportation service. Consent is not a condition of receiving transportation.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on a passenger's scheduled trips (typically a few messages per ride). Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out and help
Passengers can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for assistance. After replying STOP, a passenger will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless they opt back in.
Privacy
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or messaging consent with third parties for marketing. Numbers are used solely to deliver ride-related notifications. See our Privacy Policy.
